Equipment Grounding

Grounding cable:

1. Protect staff & crew from ground faults
2. Reduce radiated EMI

Grounding cables fasten to:

1. Stainless steel ground pads or
2. Swaged grounding studs

Grounding cables are:

1. 2 AWG for CTV equipment (1m long maximum), cab radio filter bracket, and short hood enclosures
2. 10 AWG all other locations
3. Indicated by yellow & green striping

To prevent oxidation from forming, apply Noalox to mating surfaces
